The "Cowboy Up Keepsake Box"~ is a unique assemblage/mixed-media art piece that is as functional as it is fun! I utilized a vintage mantle clock frame that I refurbished and decided to have some fun! A resin-poured steer skull was created and mounted to the front, giving this piece a completely rustic and eclectic look and feel! Beautiful hardware, acrylics, metal pieces, gilded waxes, ink (shaded by hand), and the entire box has been lined in crushed dark red velvet!
This would make the perfect box to hold anything from jewelry to remote controls—a great hideaway that would make for one heck of a conversation piece!
